Employment Tribunal Judgements available to view online!

Previously, employment tribunal judgements have only been available to the parties involved in each case. More recently, a new online service has made judgements available to the public. This new system creates transparency when it comes to employment tribunal judgements.

The database can help employers and employees find out what the rulings were in cases that may be similar to the cases they are involved in.

Although this can be useful, the circumstances of each case may differ, which can lead to a different outcome.
It may tempt employers to check the systems before they hire a prospective candidate, but basing their decision on what they find here may lead to claims of victimisation.
