Charity Golf Day

The Breathing Space team hosted its annual Charity Golf event on 9^th September and this year we are raising money for Children’s Air Ambulance.

Once again, we relied on our Community Engagement Champion Annalie Ellis to pull the event together (with the help of her colleagues who put the goody bags together and helped on the day!).

We had 11 teams entered plus other clients and friends in Sunny Bank Mills to support with sponsorships and raffle prizes.

The weather forecast didn’t look great, with threats of heavy rain and thunderstorms.  Luckily the predictions were worse than reality and the sun shone for most of the day.  Thank you to the Willow Valley Golf Course team who hosted the event and laid on the food and the golf members who also supported the event and bought raffle tickets.

It was closely fought contest this year, with only a point in it.  Congratulations to Luke’s Lads – the scores on the doors are as follows;

1^st Luke’s Lads 1 – 93 pts

2^nd VCC – 92 pts

3^rd SDE – 89 pts

4^th Skipton – 86 pts (back 9 46 pts)

5^th Luke’s Lads 2 – 86 pts

6^th Beckett’s Interiors – 81 pts

7^th Black’s Solicitors – 78 pts (back 9 38pts)

8^th LPG 78 – pts

9^th G&H 75 – pts

10^th RV2 – 71pts

11^th Breathing Space HR – 39 pts
