One of the benefits of working from home is creating your own playlist rather than listening to the office radio or a colleague’s music taste (No offence team 😉)

I normally wait for my team to leave for the day before I crank up the speakers and head banging to AC/DC Thunderstruck or a bit of happy dancing to Cuddly Toy by Roachford.

We know that listening to music can help people work through challenging times, by stimulating feelings, memories and lifting your mood.

So, what are the must-have tunes to help you through your day?

Apparently, songs by Queen, 50 Cent, Kanye West and Coldplay were among those artists most likely to stimulate productive activity whilst working from home.

By analysing the different tasks and types of work that different industry sectors are faced with each day, Transmit Startups have created designated playlists to help with different areas of work.

If you do find yourself getting stressed out regularly then the Ambient music ‘Weightless’ by Marconi Union has been found to reduce anxiety by a whopping 65%.  Do not add to your car’s playlist!
